Using My Settings for Personal Profile Setup

00:13: User settings allow you to manage your profile information, preferences,

00:18: integrations,

00:20: billing defaults,

00:21: email signatures, and notification settings.

00:26: To begin, navigate to the upper right corner of the dashboard where your username

00:31: and profile icon are displayed.

00:36: Select the dropdown and then choose My Settings.

00:41: The user settings windows will now appear and at the top of the page you'll see your

00:46: user information section.

00:50: Here you can upload a profile picture or company logo,

00:55: review your username, update your password and enable two-factor authentication

01:01: using Google Authenticator.

01:08: In the User Profile section, confirm your personal information including your first

01:13: and last name, initials,

01:16: title and time zone.

01:20: We recommend completing your user initials as they may appear throughout CARET

01:24: Legal in areas such as calendar events and billing records.

01:31: You may also enter a mobile number to receive SMS notifications for items such as

01:37: calendar reminders and task deadlines.

01:40: Next is the User Preferences section.

01:43: These settings allow you to automate common workflows, including automatically

01:48: generating time entries when composing matter-related emails,

01:53: recording phone calls or saving emails into CARET Legal.

02:02: You can also configure document display preferences and enable integrations such as

02:08: Zoom, Worldox or NetDocuments where applicable.

02:12: In the email setup section, users can connect their email account using Google,

02:18: Microsoft or other supported providers with the IMAP option.

02:24: You may also create and manage email signatures by selecting the plus sign,

02:34: entering a signature name and pasting your formatted signature into the content

02:40: window.

02:46: CARET Legal does allow users to maintain multiple email signatures and switch

02:50: between them while composing messages.

02:57: In the billing section, timekeepers can configure a default billing rate and

03:02: complete additional billing-related fields, including Leeds Timekeeping ID and UTBMS

03:09: classifications,

03:10: where applicable.

03:11: Finally, the Notifications section allows users to manage email, pop-up and text

03:18: notifications

03:19: for tasks, calendar events and document activity.
