How do I assign Emails directly to a Matter?

CARET Legal offers you the ability to associate and store Matter-Related emails under a dedicated Communications tab within each respective Matter
 

To assign an email to a Matter:

  1. Click the Email icon to navigate to CARET Legal's Email section.

  2. Select the email you wish to assign to a Matter and click Save to Matter.

  3. Enter or select the desired Matter from the drop-down list and click Save to matter. This action copies the email from your Email account and stores it inside of CARET Legal's Matter where you can Reply, Reply All, Forward, Print and Delete.

To confirm your email is saved to the Matter:

  1. Navigate to the Matters section, then select the Matter No. from the list to open it.

  2. Click the Communications tab to view the email which is now listed under this tab.
