When should I use Custom Fields?

Custom Fields can be created for any Matter or Contact information you would like readily available.
 
Custom fields are created by your Administrator in Firm Settings

To view your Custom fields:

  • Matter Custom Fields - Navigate to the Matters section and select a Matter No to open the Matter details. Custom Matter fields display in the top right-hand portion of the Matter page so you can see the information at a glance.

  • Custom Contact Fields - Click + in the action bar of the Contacts section or click + in the top menu bar and select New Person or New Company from the Quick Add menu. Custom Contact Fields display at the bottom of the corresponding modal.
