- Navigate to the Matters section and open a Matter to view the details, then click the Documents tab.
- Click the Advanced search filter below the action bar and enter your search criteria in the textbox labelled All of these Words.
- This performs a search through all the words found in the document.
To narrow down the results, use the other advanced filters on the left-hand toolbar. This toolbar includes the following filters:
Fuzzy Search: A Fuzzy search is a technique that will find results that are similar to the search query, even if they do not match exactly. It is useful when users may make typos or use different variations of a word such as plural or singular forms.
File Type: Supported File Types include ‘docx,’ ‘doc,’ ‘txt,’ ‘pages,’ ‘rtf,’ or ‘pdf.’
Tags: Tags are custom keywords or labels built by firm users to categorize and group documents. Tags are created by clicking on the "More Actions" button next to any document and selecting "Tag." You can then select a tag from your existing list or create a new one by typing in the keyword you want to use.
