Getting started with CARET Analytics

What is CARET Analytics?

CARET Analytics is here to help you take control of your firm’s data. Build your perfect dashboard and discover the power of data-driven insights. With a drag-and-drop interface, you can easily create custom dashboards that visualize your firm's data exactly how you want it.

 

Who has access?

Users with full accounting access will be able to create new reports/cards via the Overview dashboard. The following subscription tiers will have access to Analytics:

  • Enterprise Advance
  • Enterprise Insights 
  • Coming soon: Enterprise Plus - this subscription tier will only have access to built-in dashboards. To create your own custom dashboards upgrade is required. 
    • NOTE: After requesting an upgrade, Analytics may take time to appear your data must sync and may take time for the initial sync.

What built-in dashboards are available? 

All users will have access to three default dashboards. While these dashboards cannot be customized, power users can create copies of these dashboards for a catered experienced based on your personal needs. 

  • CARET Analytics Resources 
    • Webinar Registration Link - This will allow you to sign up for Analytics-specific webinar content as they happen in real time.
    • Introductory Training Modules - These provide a step-by-step guide on how to use our Analytics and build your own dashboards
    • Data Dictionary - This is a table outlining what data is available for building your own content
    • Professional Services Request - Use this if you would like us to build content/reports for your firm. Note: this is only available for Enterprise Advance and Enterprise Insights.
  • Responsible Attorney
    • This dashboard gives insight to team member performance including visuals of your Billed and collected, Timekeeper productivity, WIP, and Effective Rate.
    • This is now accessible to Administrators, Staff with Accounting, and Office Manager roles.
  • Bookkeeper Dashboard
    • This dashboard provides stats on the firm's performance providing insight on your AR, AP, Collected, and more.
    • This is now accessible to Administrators, Staff with Accounting, Bookkeeper, and Office Manager roles.

Why can't I see the Dashboards even though I have the right account type?

  • Chrome Incognito Mode/ Edge Private Mode may prevent Analytics from working properly. If users call in and are having issues accessing Analytics, please make sure they are not private browsing.  Should users encounter this, the error will look something like the below:
  • A small number of users may have issues with Safari blocking our integration.  To resolve this issue, you need to make the below change in Safari settings:
