How Can I Schedule a Training Session?

Webinar Trainings

We offer webinar trainings on a regular, recurring basis. Please take a look at the chart below for availability and registration options. We would recommend that you complete the webinars in the order they are presented below. 

Quick Start (60 min)

For all Users  

  • Topics include navigating toolbars and matters, email, calendar, tasks, CRM, matters/matter details, introduction to documents, and time and expense entry.

Billing (60 min)

For all Pre-bill/ Billing/ AR personnel

  • Entering and reviewing billable activity (time/flat fee/expenses), generating pre-bills/ invoices, applying payments, trust management, and sending invoices to clients.

Accounting (60 min)

For all Administrators/Accounting personnel (AP)/ Firm CPAs

  • Creating payables/ checks, managing vendors, managing AP, maintaining Banks and Registers as well as bank reconcilations, creating Journal Entries (such as opening balances), and reviewing Accounting Reports.

Document Management Training (<60 min)

  • This session covers how to store, edit, and share documents from CARET Legal. This session will also touch on using document templates and intake forms to expand your firm's document generation efficiency. 

Analytics Intro & Analytics Insights 

We have two sessions for analytics: Analytics Intro and Analytics Insights. You will need an Enterprise Advanced or Enterprise Insights subscription for the Intro training, and you will need an Enterprise Insights subscription for the Analytics Insights training.

    • Analytics Intro covers how to access this feature, navigate the analytics dashboards, and schedule reports.
    • Analytics Insights covers how to create and manage a card on your dashboard.

On-Demand Trainings

In addition to the webinars above, we have supplemental on-demand training for specific user roles below. For instance, we have training for firms that use our electronic payment option, CARET Payments. Our intake process and new client setup can be reviewed via CRM training. Lastly, we have on-demand training for documents in CARET Legal. To book the on-demand trainings, simply click the blue header of your desired training and complete the registration. 

 

CARET Payments (<60 min)

  • This session introduces the learner to CARET Payments within CARET Legal. This training will cover topics related to creating and sending invoices with links to pay, generating payment links for your website or email signature, electronic retainer payments, and general billing features.

 

CRM - New Client/ Matter Intake (<45 min)

  • This session will show you how you can track and manage leads/ potential clients through converting them to a new matter. We also cover conflict checking before adding new leads or potential clients.

Document Management Training (<60 min)

  • This session covers how to store, edit, and share documents from CARET Legal. This session will also touch on using document templates and intake forms to expand your firm's document generation efficiency.

You will need your firm's account number to register. If you do not know your account number, contact billing@getcaret.com, your Onboarding Project Manager, or your Client Success Manager. 
 

General Q&A (60 min)

This 60-minute open forum call addresses the Firm's various questions and concerns.

  • Please be prepared with questions while booking or provide questions ahead of time to your Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager. By providing questions in advance, it will ensure your we can cover those topics on the call or get you to someone who can.

Billing/ Accounting Q&A (60 min)

This is a 60-minute open forum call to address the Firm's various questions and concerns around billing and or accounting topics.

  • Please be prepared with questions while booking or provide questions ahead of time to your Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager. By providing questions in advance, it will ensure your we can cover those topics on the call or get you to someone who can.

First Billing Cycle (60 min)

Complete your first billing cycle with the help of a trainer.  Time and expenses should be reviewed and ready for billing before this call. Your billing and accounting settings must also be complete before this call. 

  • Client shares their screen as we walk through generating your first set of prebills/ draft invoices. After generating your prebills, we will review how to edit, delete, and approve invoices, as well as revisit how to send the invoices out to the firm's clients or apply trust.
