How do I set up Two-Factor Authentication?

For an added layer of security on your CARET Legal account, enable two-factor authentication when logging in. 
 

From My Settings

  1. Select My Settings from the drop-down menu beside your avatar to display the User Settings modal.

  2. Click Enable 2 Factor Authentication under the Change Password link.

  3. You are presented with two options:
  4. Click Enable to display the following prompt.

    • Clicking Yes will require 2 Factor Authentication when logging into your CARET Legal Account.

From Firm Settings

Admins have the ability to disable a user's 2FA status on their behalf from Firm Settings > Users & Groups.

Admins may also enable 2FA if they have access to the user's device that will be used for authentication.
