How do I Mark a Transaction as Cleared from My Bank or Credit Card in Caret Legal?

Establish a link between CARET Legal and your bank or credit card provider.

  1. Navigate to the Accounting section, then click the Banks & Registers tab.

  2. Select the account you wish to clear from the drop-down menu under the Select Account field, then select Download & Review.

  3. You will be given different clear options:


    • Match Check
    • Match Payment
    • Match Transfer
    • Assign New Transaction - If this transaction has not already been recorded on your CARET Legal Register, you can record it here and assign it as a billable expense.
