The following steps will work for Microsoft Outlook 2013 or 2016.
Export your Contacts from Outlook

Click the File tab.
- Select Open & Export from the left navigation pane, then click Import/Export from the main screen to open the Import and Export Wizard.

Select Export to a file from the Choose an action to perform drop-down list.

Click Next > and choose Comma Separated Values.

Scroll if needed and select the Contacts folder that's under your account in the Select folder to export from field.

Click Next >, then choose Browse, name your file, and click OK.

Confirm where your new contacts file will be saved on your computer, and click Next >.

Click Finish to start exporting your contacts immediately. A progress bar displays in the Import and Export Progress prompt, which disappears when the process is complete.
