Open your Firefox browser:

Select Preferences from the Menu button, then click on the Options tab.

Select Privacy & Security from the left menu bar.

Scroll down to the In the Cached Web Content section, then click Clear Now.

Close your Firefox browser and all changes will automatically be saved.
You can set Firefox to automatically clear the cache when Firefox closes:

Select Preferences from the Menu button, then click on the Options tab.

Select Privacy & Security from the left menu bar.
- Scroll down to the History section, then click Use custom settings for history.
- Select the Clear history when Firefox closes checkbox.

Tip: There are several add-ons available that will allow you to clear the cache using an icon on your toolbar. Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page to do a search.
