Can I Edit or Delete Invoiced Time Entries?

CARET Legal allows you to generate invoices from existing Time Entries and Expenses, which are considered "Unbilled Activity." Once the bill is created from that activity, the status will be marked as "Invoiced," and you will no longer see the edit or delete icons to the right of the activity. While the original entry is preserved on the list in your Time Entries, you can make changes to it directly from the invoice itself.

To edit the Time Entry:
  1. Open the Invoice by clicking on the Invoice number, or select Edit from the kebab menu.

  2. Select the pencil icon to the right of the line item you wish to edit.

  3. Select the Update Time Entry checkbox to add the changes to your list under Time Entries.

When changes are not updated, you will be able to view the differences on the Timekeeper Productivity Report under Adjusted Amount and Adjusted Time.
