🆕 Navigating the Modernized General Ledger

Note: The modernized General Ledger is rolling out in phases to all customers in the coming weeks.

This guide walks through the filters and search tools available in the Modernized General Ledger.

1. Select General Ledger

Select General Ledger from the Accounting section in the main navigation bar.

2. Filter by Date Range

Expand the date filter to choose a preset range or enter a custom date range.

3. Select Accounting Basis

Click "Cash" or "Accrual" to choose the reporting basis.

4. Filter by Transaction Type

Use the Transaction Type dropdown to filter by a specific type, such as Journal Entry.

5. Filter by Bank Account

Use the Account dropdown to filter by a specific bank account.

6. Filter by Department

Use the Department dropdown to filter by department, if applicable.

7. Filter by Location

Click into the Location dropdown to filter by location, if applicable.

8. Filter by Class

Click into the Class dropdown to filter by class, if applicable.

Access Following Menu 

9. Filter by Matter

Click into the Matter dropdown to filter transactions by a specific matter.

Identify a matter 

10. Use Advanced Search

Click the filter funnel to open advanced search. Use this to search across multiple criteria at once.

Leverage our Search Window 

11. Complete Your Search

After entering your search criteria, click "Search" or "Close" to complete the search.

Click 'Close'
