What are Work Categories?

Work Categories are time-based work, or hourly services that are charged. They are available to you when creating new Time Entries and show up on Invoices if a description is not provided. 
  1. Select Firm Settings from the drop-down menu beside your avatar.

  2. Click Billing & Accounting in the left menu bar and select Time Entry Categories from the expanded menu to find the existing Work Categories available for use at your firm.

  3. New Work Categories can be added by clicking + and filling out the required Type of work field, a Default narrative if appropriate and clicking Save.
